Food and Wine.
Having had enough of wine and dine and starting to fantasize about that home-style pot-roast, it is time to hit the supermarkets and delis.
Grocer’s shops, potraviny, usually carry the basics, such as flour, sugar, chocolates, some dairy items, bread, beverages, canned goods and the like. Some do also have freezers for frozen meats, vegetables and ice cream as well as others might have a small delicatessen aisle. However, only few sell fresh fruits, vegetables or meats. Supermarkets, on the other hand, carry a broader selection of goods and are commonly open longer hours than potraviny.
