After the Communist era, the Jewish Museum was given back to the Jewish community in 1994. With over 40,000 exhibits and 100,000 books, it owns one of the most extensive collections of Judaic art and culture in the world.
It is made up of six historic sites, thus buying an entrance ticket to the “Židovské muzeum v Praze”, as it is called in Czech, gives you the opportunity to further visit synagogues as well as other historic and culture sights of Jewish life such as for instance the Ceremonial Hall and the Old Jewish Cemetery.
Take a walking tour around the Jewish quarter of Prague and learn more about Jewish life in Prague during the times. For detailed information please see the website of the Jewish Museum.
