This was building of the Year 2002, because it was built for kids and kids at heart. The theatre is home to puppets – lots of puppets and on occasion also lets real children perform here too. Because it was build with little people in mind you feel instantly that you are in a magical place as you enter the theatre.
It’s bright and inviting and theatre times and dramaturgy of the performances are appropriate depending on the age range they wish to attract. From afternoon and early evening performances for the children to the later evening performances for the adults, the theatre offers a wide variety of plays and entertainment.
Although most performances are in Czech, with performances such as ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and ‘Treasure Island’ you will soon get the gist of what is being performed, and if you don’t, then ask the kids – they’ll help you!
