This is the oldest operating cinema not only in Prague, but in Europe and where the very first movie with sound was presented.
It is a huge cinema seating approximately 500 people and because of this, it is often the setting for many premiers and special previews in the arts world. It is in a shopping complex, has a restaurant and cafe and is able to cater for special events or private showings. Its monumental staircase is worth the price you pay for the ticket.
