PBS offers children education based on the English National Curriculum and currently has around 600 students from both the local and international communities in Prague. It has a Scholarship system, although it has limitations being that it is only available for Prague 6 residents.
The school has a Special Educational Needs Coordinator who focuses on developing special needs children’s educational experience. One of the schools key differentiators is its ‘mother tongue’ lessons for children from countries other than English speaking or the Czech Republic as it recognises that often younger children lose their home language when they live abroad. And at this school, parents also get ‘homework’ if they choose to take up the language lessons on offer. The school year begins in September and finishes in June.
