Vehicle Registration.

Anyone intending to operate a motor vehicle in the Czech Republic has to register it through a prescribed form available at the respective municipal office with extended competencies; this excludes those whose stay in the Czech Republic does not exceed 185 days in the respective calendar year.
Further, a certification of the vehicle’s technical aptness for operation on public roads is required. If the vehicle was not acquired in the Czech Republic, hence did not come with a Czech certificate of roadworthiness, an equal of the document has to be obtained.
