You will probably not have had much contact with the Czech language before coming to this country and at the beginning you will have the impression that the Czechs and the vowels are at the daggers drawn but it might be a good idea to just arm yourself with a language guide/ phrase book and learn at least the most important words like děkuji (thank you) or ahoj and na shledanou (goodbye).
Don’t worry about your pronunciation the Czechs will be delighted at your good will anyway. Below you will find a list with some useful links.
